We have an amazing community! Multiple boxes of school supplies have been donated in the past two days. A huge thank you to First National Bank of Hope and Pizza Hut for collecting these donations! We will be dispersing these supplies to students in all three buildings.

Students entering 8th-11th grades had the opportunity to sign up for a trip to Washington DC through World Classrooms. The trip has been in the works for almost 2 years. This week, it was finally time to travel. 19 students, 6 parents, 2 teachers, and the principal all traveled to DC for a 4 day trip. Some of the sites included the U.S. Capitol, the Presidential memorials, the war memorials, Arlington National Cemetery, and Mount Vernon.

Getting ready for a morning of State Officer led workshops at FBLA Summer Leadership Conference. Carrie Roe will be presenting at several sessions.
Carrie Roe, Emma Alt, Megan Mortensen and Adviser, Lisa Beye are spending two days in Manhattan attending the FBLA Summer Leadership Seminar. FBLA students around the state are attending workshops and leadership sessions.
Middle and High School girls that are interested in Volleyball. We have added a volleyball store that has items you may want to purchase for the season. There are spandex, shoes, socks, etc. You are not required to buy from this store just an option if you need these items. Once they are ordered they ship directly to your house.

USD 487 is seeking a sponsor for Middle School cheer. Interested parties need to request an application in person at the Board of Education office. Completed applications should be returned to the office by 4 p.m. August 1st.

Keep your eyes open for our online enrollment instructions that will be arriving soon. Please note.... the skyward passwords have been changed. You will use the password that is sent to you and then change it when you log-in.
Please do your online enrollment as soon as possible. To make it easier for parents, everything can be done online this year. ie. Food Service App., Enrollment and fee payment. If you complete all of these steps you do not need to come to enrollment day at the school on July 31st.
Live Enrollment will be held at the elementary school on July 31st from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. There is only 1 day for enrollment. If you have any questions please contact the Board of Education Office. 785-258-2263. Or School Offices on July 26th.
