Emilee Diekmann, daughter of Douglas and Kimberly Diekmann, has been awarded Student of the Month for August. Emilee thinks she was selected because of her particpation in different school organizations and activities. Throughout her high school years, Emilee has participated in FFA, FBLA, FCCLA, Volleyball, Basketball, Track, Swim Team, Dickinson County 4-H Senior Livestock Judging Team, and Dickinson County Farm Bureau Ag Ambassadors. When asked, Mrs. Geissert said, “Emilee is a focused, serious student. She is confident, and approaches class work with that confidence. She contributes to class discussions, and she is willing to help other students when needed. Congratulations, Emilee!”

This month at Little Railers Preschool, we are focusing on the book “The Gingerbread Man”. We transformed our dramatic play center into a bakery, and our morning class is “frosting” cookies they made out of clay with a mixture of paint and glue to add to our baked goods. They even added sprinkles (died rice) to their cookies! #growinglearners
