Geometry students in Mrs. Griffiths' class worked on scale drawings today. Some of the students created their mansions out of Legos. Other students used grid paper and pencil to draw their mansion. We will calculate the square footage of our mansions tomorrow based on our chosen scales. Then we will calculate the cost of their mansions for a reality check.

February Student of the Month - Jade Ottens
Jade Ottens is the daughter of Becky Ottens and Thomas Jones.
Jade thinks that she was selected because she is always keeping a positive attitude and doing her best in the classroom. She also encourages her classmates to do their best. Jade feels like this year she has done a good job of working hard in the classroom and maintaining good grades.
Throughout high school, she has participated in FFA and Basketball Manager.
Ms. Tobish believes that Jade was selected
because she is a kind, hardworking, fun-loving young lady. I believe she got student of the month because Jade is always trying to make those around her feel welcome and included. Her classmates love her and she is a joy to work with at HHS.
Congratulations, Jade!

Track team will start selling Subway Cards on Tuesday. Thanks for your support.
