Congratulations to Davanne Schaffer for breaking her existing Cross Country record at the State Meet on Saturday at Victoria, KS. Her new record time is 21:29.3. Awesome job Davanne!! She placed 27th out of 104 runners at the 2A meet.

The middle school staff members chose 6th grader, Alexis Sjodahl, as the October Student of the Month. Alexis participates in Band, Volleyball, Cheerleading, Swim Team, Weightlifting, Softball and Student Council. Alexis feels that she was chosen at the Middle School Student of the Month because she listens to her teachers when they are speaking, she gets her work done on time, she helps her classmates and she is a safe, responsible and respectful student. Alexis is the daughter of Mike and Jennifer Sjodahl.
