
Mrs. Roth’s and Ms. Stephania’s Kindergarten classes went on a scavenger hunt in the garden this week. They used their senses and drew pictures of something they could see, hear, touch, and smell. They had so much fun searching for their objects to draw and sharing what they drew! #LevelUpRailers

Second graders learned about the properties of science by conducting an experiment in which they had to create a hat that would protect them if they were stranded on a beach. #LevelUpRailers

On Thursday, the Middle School Student Council members traveled to Silver Lake High School for KSHSAA’s Regional STUCO conference. They worked with other MS/HS STUCO members from across the state on building positive culture within the school!






Students in Mrs. Meyer's MTSS group recently researched spiders. Each student chose a specific spider to research and then did an illustration of that spider. #LevelUpRailers

Congratulations to the Lady Rails on their 2nd place finish today at their home tournament. Sedgwick 1st, Herington 2nd, Canton Galva 3rd and Wichita Homeschool 4th.

Schedule Change: Due to not having a Middle School Football Game on Thursday, October 12th. We will move 8th Grade Recognition for Volleyball and Football to the game on October 5th.

HES Families: We are planning to move forward with our lunch on the lawn event today. The pavement and sidewalk areas are dry but the grass will be off limits.
