Mrs. Knopp's third grade reading group will be hosting a lemonade stand at the Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 28. Students will donate the proceeds to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, which provides funding for childhood cancer research. The foundation was created in memory of Alex Scott.
Alex was diagnosed with cancer at one. When she was four, she asked to host a lemonade stand so she could give the money to her hospital to help other children with cancer. That first stand raised about $2,000. Alex lost her battle with cancer when she was 8. Since 2005, Alex's foundation has raised over $250 million to fund more than 1,000 research grants.
Stop by our stand to have a cup of homemade lemonade. The cost of the lemonade is a donation. If you are unable to make it to the festival, please consider making a donation by using the QR codes on the attached poster. Thank you for helping us help fund cancer research. #LevelUpRailers

HES Families: After reaching out to InterState Studios, they believe that the issue has been resolved with the portrait previews that were previously e-mailed out after picture day. InterState Studios requested that we share with parents/caregivers that if you didn't get an email to go to the link and they will send you the correct portrait preview:
