Today Mr. Hirsch announced the fall drama production! He put 10 play/musical posters outside his room and at the end of every class period he would take one down until the show he picked was the last one left. So the show is…. “You Can’t Take It With You!” This year the HHS drama club will be doing a play; and a hilarious one at that!
The show takes place in the 1930’s. It follows a young, newly engaged woman who has a loving family. But the family may be a bit… eccentric! The family members all have very fun hobbies: dancing, candy making, play writing, painting, printing, and even making fireworks in the basement of their house! Follow the Sycamore family in this hilarious comedy of errors.
Performance dates will be November 10th & 11th @ 7 pm and November 12th @ 2 pm.
Audition dates will be announced next week!

The Stuco is extremely excited to try and be more in the student body this year and make HHS a better place to learn, grow, and have fun!

In April, Mr. Hirsch had the honor of being chosen for the National World War 2 Museum’s teacher program. He is in New Orleans getting tons of resources to bring back to his students and make his World War 2 lessons even more interactive and educational.
He also got to meet and talk to several WW2 veterans as well. One of them was even a Tuskegee Airman!
