Mrs. Roth’s and Ms. Stephania’s Kindergarten classes went on a scavenger hunt in the garden this week. They used their senses and drew pictures of something they could see, hear, touch, and smell. They had so much fun searching for their objects to draw and sharing what they drew! #LevelUpRailers

On Thursday, the Middle School Student Council members traveled to Silver Lake High School for KSHSAA’s Regional STUCO conference. They worked with other MS/HS STUCO members from across the state on building positive culture within the school!

Schedule Change: Due to not having a Middle School Football Game on Thursday, October 12th. We will move 8th Grade Recognition for Volleyball and Football to the game on October 5th.
HES Families: We are planning to move forward with our lunch on the lawn event today. The pavement and sidewalk areas are dry but the grass will be off limits. One of the many goals in preschool is to help children make connections between school and their world. Our dramatic play center this month is a Pizza Restaurant. Last week the preschoolers followed a recipe to create real cheese pizzas that they enjoyed at school. Then the children were encouraged to take their recipes home and share the project with their families. #LevelUpRailers
