This past Tuesday, the class of 2026 got to go on a college visit. 18 students went on a tour at ESU and 8 students visited FHTC. This was the first college visit for most of the students and they learned a lot about many aspects of college life and the programs offered at these schools.

Congratulations to Aidan Thibodeau for being selected by the high school staff as the recipient of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Good Citizen Award. Part of the award/scholarship requires he write an essay that will be judged against the recipients from each of the high schools in Dickinson county. If his essay is the chosen winner, he will compete at the state level. As long as his essay continues to win, it will be sent to the national level. That winner receives a trip to a session of Congress in Washington D.C. and a $10,000 scholarship. Good luck Aidan!
