Good Morning, Orange Express has worked hard to get trailers for our parade today! We would like to have our Middle School Volleyball and Football players participate this evening to showcase our fall sports teams. The parade will start at 6pm at the school parking lot, run through downtown Herington and end at the school parking lot around 6:30. Students will be able to be picked up after they are dropped of at the school after the parade. Thank you!

There will be a pass gate for the cheerleaders at the football scrimmage at 7:00pm tomorrow night. Each cheerleader can invite six gueats.

You must have a ticket to enter the venue.

ATTENTION HHS and HMS Remote Learners: Classroom teachers are sending emails regarding the beginning of classes. Please check your email frequently for class codes and other information. If you are unable to log in to your school email or don't know your school email address or password, please contact the high school or middle school office. Remember that classes begin at 8 a.m. Wednesday, and you are expected to be in attendance remotely.

HMS/HHS is excited to Welcome Back students tomorrow. We are ready to see you.


The Herington Hearts Core Community group will be starting back up with Monday night classes that provide support to families. The Getting Ahead orientation nights are Monday, September 21st @ 5:30pm and Monday, September 28th @ 5:30pm. Classes are held at Herington Elementary School. A meal and childcare will be provided. Railers: Rather than having our traditional back to school night this year, families will have an opportunity to "Stop, Drop, and Roll-Through Herington Schools" on Tuesday, August 25th from 6:00-7:00. Please see the attached images for more information.



Railers: Because of the health guidelines pertaining to sanitation procedures and contact tracing, students will only be permitted to ride the same bus route to and from school. Students are permitted to change bus pick-up and drop-off locations as long as the students remain on the same bus route.
Any permanent bus route changes must be communicated 48 hours in advance to your students’ office staff (i.e. a permanent change of address).
If your students’ pick-up/drop-off location differs from the home address listed in Skyward, please notify your students’ office staff with the updated pick-up/drop-off information.
