Congratulation to Tristyn Kremeier, sophomore at Herington High, who broke the school record for three pointers in a single season. The previous record was held by Chanell Makovec with 42 back in ‘09. Kremeier broke this record with 45 as of last Tuesday. We are excited to see what the next two years has in store for this athlete!

Third graders is Miss Parks’ class are looking at the harmful effects of not brushing your teeth in support of dental health month! They put their labeling skills to use helping identify what is in each jar. After that, the students measured out 8 oz of a specific liquid and put an egg inside. The egg will be observed over the next 5 days to see what happens as a result of leaving a liquid on your “teeth”! Students each write down a hypothesis of which liquid they think will have the most damaging effects. Liquid A- gatorade Liquid B- lemonade Liquid C- orange juice Liquid D- milk Liquid E- water Liquid F- coke Liquid G- sweet tea Liquid H- bang energy drink Fun was had by all and we would love for our community to play along with us! Which liquid do you think will cause the most damage?! We will post the findings of the students' observations in a few days! #beingallwecanbe
