HES students showed off their favorite Kansas teams for our Kansas Day mini spirit week!




HMS Winter HOCO Spirit Week


Due to illness the JV Girls game has been cancelled tonight at Little River. The JV boys game will begin at 4:30.

Students in Speech class completed a short unit on writing and following directions. For the final task, they had to write a list of directions for someone not in the class to follow. Results varied but all parties had fun.

Herington High School is looking for community members that would be willing and able to give dance lessons to Juniors and Seniors on Wednesday afternoons. A big thank you to Barnes Heartland Foods for their generous donation of lunches to the Herington Middle School basketball teams for their games in Elyria this past Monday. Your support means so much to our players and coaches, and it’s a great example of how our community comes together. We appreciate you!

Monday, January 27th - Wear your favorite KS team's gear.
Tuesday, January 28th - Home on the range (wear cowboy, farmer, famous Kansan, or other KS related gear).
Wednesday, January 29th - Windy Wednesday (wear a hat).
We will have KS Day activities/stations planned from 12:30-3:30 on Wednesday, January 29th around HES!
