Awesome job Railer Wrestlers and Coaches!!!
The HES January student of the month is Braxton Pigorsch – 5th Grade Student in Mrs. Beames’ Class. Braxton is our student of the month because she is respectful, responsible and safe throughout the school day. When Braxton is absent she makes sure to get all her missing assignments completed. She asks for help when she needs it and she is willing to help others as well. Braxton is one of the few kids in our class who has met her AR goal for the first two quarters. Braxton is respectful to others and takes responsibility for her actions. She is a well-rounded student. She is fun and funny. She is caring and shows concern for how others feel around her. We really enjoy having Braxton in our school and look forward to the rest of the year with her. Braxton is the daughter of Casey Jarvis.

A special thank you goes to Mrs. Biehler and the BOE for helping make this project happen. The staff of I-Serve, Scott Stroda, Bryant Duenes and all that helped plan this project along the way. Dickinson County Foundation for the grant that has helped with start up cost.
Thanks again for your support. We look forward to serving you!

Thank you to everyone who supported the Sophomore Class with their Crush fundraiser! Happy Valentine’s Day 🧡❤️
It is our FCCLA/ FBLA week… Today we had kids fill out sticky notes for our “Appreciation Wall” where kids could post things and who they had appreciation for. Tomorrow the HS teachers get lunch.
National FFA Week is next week, Feb 19-25th. HHS will have the following activities taking place throughout the week to bring attention to this valuable organization and the value FFA plays in the lives of students.
Congratulations to Avery Monnington!! She is a Class of 2023 Rudd Scholarship winner. The Rudd Scholarship covers all cost that other scholarships do not cover during four years of college. Over 1000 students apply for this scholarship in the State of Kansas and only 30 are chosen each year. After the top 50 applicants in the state are chosen based on their application, they then interview with a panel from the Rudd Foundation. Finally, the top 30 are chosen. The scholarship can be used at WSU, FHSU, or ESU. HHS is proud of you Avery, you earned it!
Happy Valentines Day from the Family and Consumer Science Culinary Arts kids…
