Winter sports will begin soon. MS Basketball opens their season at Herington on November 17th. Good Luck Railers!

We are looking for a third coach to help with MS Boys Basketball. Inquiries/interest about this position should be made to Lisa Beye before midnight Sunday.

Brie Hamm performed in the Wheat State League Honor Choir at Tabor College in Hillsboro.

HMS Winter Dance will take place Friday, November 7th from 7:00pm - 9:30pm. Students must be in good standing and must be in attendance all day on Friday the 7th.


HMS First Quarter Awards Assembly will take place on Friday, November 14th at 2:45pm in the HMS Gym.

FBLA State Officers Isabelle Ecklund and Henry Nelson along with Advisor Lisa Beye went to Solomon High School today to work with their officer team.

Congratulations to Hannah Pritchard for earning All-League Honors.

Middle school boys basketball will have a parent meeting tomorrow at 5:30 in the Elementary cafeteria? Thank you lots!!

Are you ready for November? Mrs. Meyer's second grade class worked together with Mrs. D's kindergarteners to make some festive decorations for the new month! They collaborated to make some fun and colorful Thanksgiving turkeys!

On Friday, Herington Elementary got spooky with a costume parade followed by the monthly school assembly. Lots of awesome costumes were displayed and many parents were in attendance! We also celebrated monthly birthdays, recognized students doing good deeds with shout outs, and awarded class awards for good behavior in the lunchroom, gym, music, and library. We wrapped up the celebration by singing our school song. Lots of great Railer Pride displayed on Halloween!

The sophomore class attended a college and career fair at the Kansas State Fairgrounds yesterday. Over 5000 Kansas students attended the two day event and saw over 200 exhibits from colleges and careers offered across our state.

Monday November 3rd is a regular school day. School will be in session as usual on Monday.
