On Thursday, October 30th, the sophomore class will be traveling to the Kansas State Fairgrounds to attend a college and career fair. Over 5000 students from across the state will be attending the event and there are hundred of booths from colleges and varieties of careers for them to interact with. We will leave at 8:15 and return before the school day is over. We will stop for lunch, so students will need to bring money for lunch.

Unfortunately, the melodrama by Mr. Hirsch's drama class for the Fall Festival is cancelled. Due to unforeseen circumstances they will not be performing on Saturday Oct. 25th. They are hoping to find another date to perform or to perform it for the grade school. Thank you for your understanding.

This morning was the final round of our Advisory Volleyball Tournament. The showdown between Chesterman's Chickens and Bobbi’s Builders kept us all on the edge of our seats. In the end Bobbi’s Builders took the win with a score of 6-3. Miss Rookstool has now secured the coveted Advisory Trophy for 3 consecutive Volleyball Tournaments.

Stay tuned for our next tournament!

First grade visited the community garden last Thursday thanks to K-State Research and Extension! Students got to harvest sweet potatoes and corn as well as pick their own pumpkins to take home. They also did a dissection activity with some pumpkins. They had a blast!
