
Middle School Volleyball Camp July 12-15
M-Th from 9:30-11:00 am in the elementary gym. Those students entering the 6th-8th grades and plan to play volleyball are encouraged to attend.
High School practice has been moved to 8-9:15 Monday and Wednesday next week in the elementary gym.
Camp is no cost and no need to pre register.

Bus Drivers Needed
USD 487 is looking for qualified bus drivers for the 2021-2022 school year. Applicants must hold, or work to obtain a CDL with Passenger and Student endorsements. This is a nine month position. Applications can be obtained from the District office located at 19 N. Broadway, Herington. Positions will be open until filled. EOE

High School SECRETARY POSITION Herington USD 487 is accepting applications for a High School Secretary position. You would be considered a full-time, nine-month employee (approximately 8 hours per day). Applications can be obtained and returned to the Board of Education office at 19 N. Broadway. Deadline for application submissions is June 11th. EOE

If you still need to turn in your high school track uniform, Coach Pritchard will be at the track from 830-945 am this week.

Congratulations to the top 3 cookie dough sellers from the Middle School Cookie Dough Fundraiser. 1st place was Koryn Alexander with 24 items, 2nd place Peyton Rand with 15 items and 3rd place was Conner Williams with 14 items. Each student was awarded a certificate to Sweet Creations.

Sarah Biehler and Carrie Roe were chosen by the Kansas Board of Regents as Kansas State Scholars! To be eligible, the students have to complete the Regents Curriculum which includes a year of advanced math, physics, and two years of foreign language. The final selection is based on their ACT score and G.P.A. Over 6000 Kansas students were eligible, but only the top 1/3 were selected as a Scholar. Congratulations Ladies!!
